I know what it’s like to be in financial distress. In the great economic collapse of 2008, my employer offered to let me keep my job in exchange for a 60% pay cut. I declined the offer and founded Lawson at Law, PLLC. I came close to my own personal economic collapse. We almost lost our home. We almost were put out on the street. So I know what it’s like to be scared by the uncertainty of not knowing what’s going happen next. I know what it’s like to wake up in the middle of the night wondering what bills have to be paid and which can be put off.
